With much excitement, I entered the teaching room to begin the first day of the plantation course! Jesus is my teacher. He is awesome, as always.
To begin, He led me to understand the formation of land and plants.
We start from reading the book of Genesis Chapter 1.
Genesis 1:9-13 (NIV)
9 And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so. 10 God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw that it was good.
11 Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day.
Verses 9-13 stood out to me as they are about plants. Jesus asked me to pay attention to the sequence of how He created everything.
So I found at first there was already 'waters' (Gen 1:2), then God created light (Gen 1:3-5, the first day), then the sky (Gen 1:6-8, the second day), then dry land and sea (Gen 1:9-10, the third day) and plants (Gen 1:11-13, the third day), then sun and moon (Gen 1:14-19, the forth day), then sea creatures and birds (Gen 1:20-23, the fifth day), then land creatures (Gen 1:24-25, the sixth day) and man (Gen 1:26-27, the sixth day).
Jesus continued to speak, 'water, light, air, soil - these four existed before the creation of any plants. These 4 elements are crucial for plants to grow - this is how God designed them to be.' His Spirit is the one that carry the execution after He spoke.
Then Jesus led me to read the book of Genesis Chapter 2.
Genesis 2:8-10 (NIV) 8 Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed. 9 The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. 10 A river watering the garden flowed from Eden; from there it was separated into four headwaters.
Jesus highlighted the 4 rivers - Pishon, Gihon, Hiddekel, Euphrates, they are to provide nutrients and moisture to the land.

On the day before this class, I was just wondering what is the 'original soil' that God first created? What is the 'best soil' composition?
Holy Spirit highlighted verse 7 to me - Human are created from the 'dust of the ground' (Gen 2:7).
Genesis 2:7 (NIV) Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
This means what's in our human body must also exist in the soil (physically, such as calcium, potassium and all sorts of minerals).
The name of the first man, Adam, actually derives from Hebrew word adamah meaning the 'ground' or 'the earth'.
Hmm... still much wisdom and knowledge need to dig on.
This was the first day of the class.
