I haven't stepped back to the Garden for 4 days as I knew I haven't finished the assignment that Holy Spirit left me from last time - study about farming from the biblical perspective and start from the book of Leviticus.
Until today Jesus urged I shall go back as Holy Spirit has been waiting for me.
Deep down I have this feeling of fear and condemnation as I did not complete the assignment she gave me.
The moment when I stepped into the garden. Holy Spirit, as the gorgeous lady, stood up from where she was and hugged me. 'I miss you! Why didn't you come? I have been waiting for you every day.' I was surprised by her warm gesture.
I replied I haven't done the homework so afraid to come to find you.
She said, 'Do not do this next time. Even you haven't finished, you can tell Me! No penalty. It's also not an obligation. We can even do it together! I never said you have to do it alone.'
AH Yes! why did I think I shall do it on my own and present to her like reporting? She is looking for partnership and indeed fear comes from judgment.... There is no fear in God's love. I have always thought the Holy Spirit as a Mighty teacher and authority (she still is), but somehow to an extent that I have a sense of fear.
1 John 4:18 (NIV)
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
Then we studied the book of Leviticus 25:1-22 together.
I first read the English Standard Version (ESV). (Click here to read)
Basically, the chapter was about:
For 6 years people shall sow the field, prune the vineyard, and gather its fruits.
In the 7th year, they shall rest. This is a rest for the land and a Sabbath to the Lord.
When it comes to the 49th year, they shall sound a loud trumpet on the 10th day of the 7th month. Then consecrate the 50th year for its a Jubilee year to proclaim liberty throughout the land. People shall return to their own property. There shall be no sowing, reaping, and gathering.
But how do they have food if they rest on the 7th year?
God's blessing will be on the 6th year that the crop will be sufficient for 3 years.
So, in the 9th year, they will still be eating the crop left from the 6th year. Then gradually to the harvest from the 8th year.
Holy Spirit asked, 'what does this passage mean?'
I replied, 'Rest and obedience is important? Need to live by faith?'
She then asked me to read one more version. I picked the Amplified version (AMP).
From the AMP version, I found the 50th year is to proclaim freedom throughout the land for the slaves. and Jubilee means a year of remission - the cancellation of debt, charge, and penalty). People that were sold to another because of poverty shall return to his own ancestral property, and those who were separated by bondage shall return to his family.
The Lord asked, 'What's added to your understanding?'
I said, 'So the 50th year symbolize "set the captives free"'? But why 50?
'50 is special as 5 means My grace and redemption'.
This is class 23.
