28 - Calling

I was waiting for the Lord today....then suddenly I heard Him.

'Hey Bonnie! Bonnie!'

I asked the Lord, 'Did you call me?'

He replied, 'Yes I called you.'

'Today I want to talk about calling. What did you do when I called you just now?'

I replied, 'I responded as I heard you.'

The Lord continued,

'I love it when My people respond when they heard My call. Calling is about responding. You cannot 'walk out your calling' if you cannot hear it in the first place. In order to hear it, you need to stay with Me, abide in Me.

John 15:5 (NIV)

I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

It is a practice to prepare you before I take you to the next level. You cannot run if you don't learn how to walk. So be patient with yourself, be patient in the process of training. I know what I am doing. What I am doing is all out of love. I love you.

John 15:9-10 (NIV)

As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.

Calling - this word seems so hard to understand or being too abstract. In fact, it is very simple. It's about Me calling you and you respond, just like what we did at the beginning of today's session. It is about whether you choose to listen and respond to Me as your Lord, or you choose yourself or the Babylon idols over Me. There are so many voices in our daily lives. But My sheep know My voice.
