14 - Waiting

I was waiting for the Holy Spirit in the garden. After a while, she appeared. She was holding a huge pot of flowers.

She spoke, 'Welcome back! I was busy taking care of My flowers this morning'

Then she walked away to put the pot down and clean her hands. Afterwards, she grabbed my arms and led me to a place which has a wooden table and bench.

She asked me if I want some floral tea to drink. I asked what flower. She said mixed. Then poured a cup to me.

She spoke,

'Today I want to teach you about waiting.

Waiting is a process not like by many people. People want things instantly, quickly. People want to see the result immediately.

I want to let you know waiting is a kind of respect to Me, a way to honour Me.

Psalm 37:7 (NIV)

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him

Even you cannot see by your human sight, it doesn't mean I am not at work.

Just like when you came in just now, I was taking care of My lovely flowers. Each flower represents one unique life. There are also times that I take care of the seeds, other times the soil, sometimes even rescuing infected plants. I am very busy.

And sometimes, most of the time, I wait on you. I wait on you to grow. I love you. I love you so I wait on you. If you love Me, you wait on Me also.

Isaiah 30:18 (AMP)

Therefore the Lord waits [expectantly] and longs to be gracious to you,

And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you.

For the Lord is a God of justice;

Blessed (happy, fortunate) are all those who long for Him [since He will never fail them].

I also enjoy the moments of us like this, spending time with each other. Relax, and enjoy each other's presence and the drink I specially made for you.
