Black Tourmaline, also known as Schorl, is a silicate mineral containing boron and a member of the Tourmaline family.

Black Tourmaline, often refers as a grounding stone, is a popular choice for uncomfortable environments and 'bad vibes'.

FOR STABILITY

Jesus is the anchor of our soul (Hebrews 6:19).

Black tourmaline encourages our anchoring to Jesus and His truth from all the tossing waves and noises of this world.

Anchoring to His presence makes us like a light tower standing firm by the sea. Even when we are in the storm, our direction can still be clear and even be the light for those who are lost.

This stability gives the sense of peace and grounding to our mind and body.

FOR WALKING IN AUTHORITY

As a Christ follower, Black tourmaline encourages us to walk in authority and take each step as Jesus see the earth as His footstool (Isaiah 66:1).

FOR HEARING GOD

God loves to talk to us because He desires to have an intimate personal relationship with us. And hearing God's voice is an important factor in the walk of following Jesus as a believer. As Jesus's sheep, we CAN hear His voice.

John 10:27-28 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man.

However, we must understand the voice of God is not the mechanical sound of this world, but is spirit that emits from another dimension.

We can understand such "sound" be transmitted as energy at a frequency that human can "hear". Often times, when we say "hearing God" does not mean to be hearing audible sound (which can still happen), but such as still small inaudible voice in the heart, impression in the mind, visions in the head.

But we need to know that nervousness, anxiety and stress are all blockers for us to hear His voice clearly.

Black tourmaline helps to calm our mind and body, and increases stability (as mentioned above).

The vibrational frequency of black tourmaline also helps to amplify His voice in our hearing and make us a better antenna to receive His "sound".
